Style Theory is no longer operating. Its subscription service ended on 30 September 2025 and the company went into liquidation, and its old web address now shows only a parked domain page. When it ran, Style Theory was a Singapore clothing rental subscription for women who wanted a changing wardrobe without buying new pieces each time. Members chose dresses, tops, outerwear and, on some plans, designer handbags from an online catalogue. They wore the items, then sent them back to swap for something else. The company cleaned returned items, so subscribers did not have to launder rented clothes themselves. The idea fit the sustainable fashion movement: when many people share the same garments, fewer people buy fast fashion to wear once. Rental has its own footprint from delivery and professional cleaning, though, so the environmental benefit depended on how people used it. If you are in Singapore and want something similar, look at clothing rental or resale services that are still trading, and read their terms carefully. Former members should not expect deliveries, returns or customer support through the old website. We have not rated this service because nobody can join or use it now.
