What's in the box: Individually portioned servings of specialty instant coffee that you made by adding water.
Sudden Coffee is no longer operating. The San Francisco company closed in 2020, and its old web address now shows an unrelated blog of generic coffee and lifestyle articles, with no shop and no subscription. While it was running, Sudden Coffee sold specialty instant coffee directly to customers. Its goal was to bring the flavor of carefully sourced, lighter roasted coffee to something you could make just by adding water. The appeal was convenience without the flat taste many people expect from supermarket instant. Servings came individually portioned, so they were easy to pack for travel, camping or the office, and customers could order on a recurring basis instead of buying one batch at a time. It got attention from coffee fans who wanted a decent cup away from their grinder and brewer. Since the company has shut down, you can't order anything, there's no active subscription to manage and there's no customer support to contact. If you land on the current website, it doesn't appear to have any link to the original coffee business, and it doesn't sell Sudden Coffee products. If you want something similar today, look for a specialty instant coffee brand that is still trading and clearly lists its products, prices and cancellation terms before you sign up.
