Taste Trunk is no longer operating. Its old web address now redirects to Whimsy & Spice, a recipe and food blog that says it acquired the domain and that the Taste Trunk website no longer exists. No formal closure announcement has surfaced, and the most recent customer reviews date from February 2022, so the service appears to have wound down some time after that. When it ran, Taste Trunk was a US subscription box focused on olive oil and gourmet pantry goods. It was meant for home cooks who wanted to try better cooking staples without hunting for them in specialty shops. Details such as pricing, box sizes and shipping terms are not available now. The site at the old address has nothing to do with the original business. It offers recipes, drink ideas, ingredient substitutes and general roundups of food subscription boxes, written by a chef named Jenna, but it does not sell or ship a Taste Trunk box.
