Closed.Monthly Lebanese food box launched in May 2015; the publisher's posts now mark it as discontinued.
What's in the box: When it ran, each monthly box held a selection of Lebanese food products, though the site does not list exact contents.
The Box by NoGarlicNoOnions is no longer operating. Its publisher has marked this monthly Lebanese food box as discontinued, so you can't order it. It launched in May 2015 as an offshoot of NoGarlicNoOnions, a long running Lebanese blog known for restaurant reviews, food stories and travel pieces. The idea was a monthly box of Lebanese food products, chosen by people who spend their time eating and writing about the country's food scene. The site does not say what each box held or what it cost, and it no longer has an ordering page. The website is still online, but it now focuses on news, travel and restaurant posts, plus a YouTube channel and features such as a documentary on Jebneh Darfiyeh, a traditional cheese aged in goatskin in the mountains above Ehden. Much of the recent front page is general lifestyle content with little connection to Lebanese food. If you want a Lebanese food subscription, you will need to look elsewhere. The blog can still help you learn about regional products and places to eat in Lebanon, but think of The Box as a piece of history rather than a service you can join.
