The Gunpla Sub Box

What's in the box: A Bandai Gundam model kit plus building and display extras such as markers, decals and bases.

The Gunpla Box is a Gundam model kit subscription from GunplaBox, an online hobby shop that also sells loose Gunpla, trading cards, comics, manga, LEGO and HeroClix. There are six tiers, and you can get a kit monthly, quarterly or every six months. That is more flexible than hobby boxes that only ship on a fixed monthly schedule. The shop says every box includes a Gundam model kit plus extras such as markers, decals and display bases, so you get finishing supplies as well as the build. Its own Gunpla catalog is mostly Bandai High Grade kits from recent series like The Witch from Mercury and GQuuuuuuX, with some Real Grade kits too, which hints at what subscribers might receive. The site does not clearly explain how the six tiers differ, which kit grades each tier includes, or whether you can avoid kits you already own. Check the tier details before you sign up. The subscription is also just one part of a broad general hobby store, so it gets less attention on the site than the shop does. If you want a steady supply of kits and useful accessories without choosing each one yourself, it is a reasonable choice with sensible delivery options.
