What's in the box: The site does not yet describe what comes in a box, though it should include kids activity and STEM materials once the service launches.
The Petit Pelican is a Hong Kong subscription focused on kids activities and STEM learning, but right now there is not much you can actually buy. The website shows a password protected coming soon page and an email signup for launch news, promotions, new products and sales. It does not show any boxes, age ranges or prices, and it does not explain how the subscription works. That leaves little to judge beyond the stated focus.
The idea is appealing. Hands on STEM and activity kits give children a screen free way to build, experiment and learn. A local Hong Kong option could also suit local families better than overseas boxes. Whether The Petit Pelican delivers on that is unknown for now.
If you are curious, join the mailing list and wait for the full launch details. Before you subscribe, check which ages the kits are for, what a typical box includes, how cancellation works and whether the projects match your child's interests. Until the service opens properly and shows real products, we cannot recommend it over established kids activity boxes. The low score is about the missing public information, not any known problem with quality.
