What's in the box: A changing selection of running fuel and fitness products such as energy gels, bars and similar items from sports nutrition brands.
The Running Box is a UK subscription service for runners. Each month it sends a box of fitness products and running snacks. You can subscribe for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, or buy a box as a one-off, which helps if you want to try it once or send it as a gift. There are three tiers: The Running Box lite, the standard box and The Running Box Plus. The site does not spell out what separates them. Vegan, original and gluten free versions are offered, which is helpful for runners with dietary needs. Boxes go out at the start of the month, and you need to order by the 15th to get the next month's box. The site also sells gift vouchers and branded bundles, including packs from SiS, Kendal Mint Co and High5, so it partly works as a shop for runners. It says it suits everyone from Couch to 5K beginners to experienced marathoners. The site gives few details on the exact products in each tier or how much they vary from month to month, so check the help centre before you commit. The service is run by Gift Box Club Co Ltd.
