The Wizarding Trunk

What's in the box: A themed set of fan-designed collectibles, which can include a handcrafted potion bottle, paper replicas or book covers, and replica props or wearables.

The Wizarding Trunk is a US subscription service for Harry Potter fans who would rather collect props than snacks or generic merch. It has three options: The Owlery, a bi-monthly box; the High Security Vault, a quarterly box; and The Enchanter, a quarterly magazine. Each box has a theme. The current quarterly box is "Cozy Wizarding Winter," and the brand names its releases after school "Years." The focus is on exclusive items. These include handcrafted potion bottles made by Pure Blood Apothecary, book covers and paper replicas from fandom designers, and replicas and wearables made by fans for fans. There is also a shop for individual items and dust jackets. The company says it curates boxes in advance so they ship on time, and it publishes a shipping schedule so you know when each delivery is coming. The main page does not show prices, so check the subscribe page before you sign up. Some notices on the site seem out of date. A "Year 7" opening date of August 15 sits next to a November quarterly announcement, so confirm which box you would actually receive. The items are fan made, and the site does not say they are officially licensed. If you collect display pieces, it is a thoughtful pick.
