TheGinBox.ie

Moved. The old site now redirects to wineonline.ie. No recent activity could be confirmed beyond older press competitions.

What's in the box: When it ran, a box was built around a selected gin for subscribers to try, usually with ideas on how to serve it.

TheGinBox.ie is no longer running as a gin subscription box, and its web address now sends visitors to WineOnline, an Irish online wine and spirits shop. When it was running, the service sent gin fans in Ireland a regular box built around gin, with the aim of introducing them to new bottles and ways to serve them. Apart from some older press competitions, there is no sign of recent activity under the Gin Box name. The site does not say whether existing subscriptions were moved over, paused or ended. If you visit the old address, you land on WineOnline's main shop, which is mostly about wine: mixed cases, single bottles, gift hampers and a wine club. Some spirits are on sale there, including a gin hamper, whiskey and vodka gift boxes and a rum advent calendar. These are one-off gifts, not a recurring gin box, so they do not replace what TheGinBox.ie used to offer. If you subscribed in the past and have questions about an old order or account, contact WineOnline directly. If you want a regular gin delivery today, this service is not available. Look instead at Irish spirits subscriptions that are clearly still trading and taking orders.
