Ugaoo

What's in the box: There is no fixed box: you choose individual plants, pots, soil, seeds and care products from the catalogue.

Ugaoo calls itself India's one-stop gardening shop, and its website supports that description. You buy items one at a time, and nothing on the homepage points to a recurring subscription box. Readers who want a monthly plant delivery should know this before signing up. The range is wide. It covers live plants, pots, soils, fertilisers, seeds, garden tools, watering solutions, pest control and gardening decor. The plant selection leans toward easy indoor varieties such as peace lily, jade, money plant, snake plant and spider plant, along with larger statement plants like monstera, areca palm and bird of paradise. Several of these are labelled beginner friendly. Ugaoo says plants come in pre-fertilised soil and arrive healthy, and it offers free replacement and free plant care support. These promises matter for live plants, which can be damaged in transit. The site also lists gifting, corporate gifts, garden services, a blog and a store locator, so it appears to have physical stores as well as online sales. Product listings show customer ratings and review counts. Ugaoo looks like a solid choice for building an indoor plant collection in India. As a subscription service, though, there is nothing here to review.
