What's in the box: When it was running, the box was built around vinyl records, but the exact contents and how records were picked are no longer described anywhere on the site.

Vinyl Wings is not operating as a subscription box right now, and vinylwings.com now redirects to stevevernak.com, the personal site of writer and musician Steve Vernak. When it ran, Vinyl Wings was a US subscription built around vinyl records. The site that remains doesn't describe the box, its plans, or how deliveries worked, so we can't confirm what each shipment held, how records were chosen, or what it cost. The Vinyl Wings name still appears on the site next to a piece titled "Dionysus for Your Ritual," but there is no sign up page, shop, or subscription information. Instead, the site features essays Vernak wrote for JEMS, the Journal of Emergency Medical Services, about his work as a paramedic, plus lyrics and a music video for his original song "Electric Kids." It is a personal creative portfolio, not a store. We don't recommend trying to subscribe to anything or pay anyone under the Vinyl Wings name unless a working service with clear terms comes back. If you want a record club today, choose an active vinyl subscription that openly lists its plans, prices, and cancellation policy. Past subscribers with questions about old orders should check their own payment records and contact their card provider if needed.
