What's in the box: A box of clothing chosen by your stylist for the Edit you picked (everyday style, activewear, sleepwear and loungewear, or men's), which you can preview before it ships.
Wantable is a US personal styling service. A human stylist picks clothing for you based on a style quiz and sends it in a box the company calls an Edit. It has four main lines: Style, Active, Sleep & Body, and Men's. There are also rotating Themed Edits such as Denim, Workwear, Preppy and seasonal collections. Each Edit carries a $20 styling fee, which is credited toward anything you keep. Its most useful feature is the preview step. You can approve or decline items before the box ships, so you are less likely to receive pieces you would never wear. Once the box arrives, you have five days to try everything on, keep what you like and send the rest back. Shipping and returns are free. Wantable says it works with more than 100 clothing brands. It also says its picks improve over time as you give feedback and use Stream, a browsing feed where your stylist can see the items you like. The drawbacks are common to this kind of service. The homepage does not show item prices, so your real cost depends on what you keep. If nothing suits you, the styling fee is not refunded. Five days is also a fairly short window to try things on. For people who dislike shopping but want a real person choosing for them, it is a sensible, low-risk option.
