What's in the box: Each month brings 2 or 4 wines with a printed guide to the producers, a regional presentation with maps, and tasting and food pairing videos.
WINO.Klub is a monthly wine subscription from SPOT. that sends 2 or 4 bottles to your door. The wines come from several dozen importers, from SPOT.'s own imports and from Polish winemakers, so you get a wider range than a single shop's shelf. Two people choose the wines. Adam Pawłowski, the first Polish Master Sommelier, handles the classic side. He is a Court of Master Sommeliers educator and a WSET course leader. Lechosław Olszewski represents the 'new wave'. He organized Poland's first natural wine festival, and his SPOT. wine list was named the best in Poland by Magazyn Wino. Having both styles makes the club useful for learning, not just drinking. The education is the real strength here. Every set comes with a producer guide, a presentation on regions, appellations and grapes with maps, a tasting video covering each wine, and a food pairing video. Members also get a community space and a newsletter about tastings and promotions. The site's main description does not state prices, shipping costs or cancellation terms, so check these before you join. The club is aimed at Polish buyers, and everything is presented in Polish, which will limit anyone who doesn't read the language.
