World Bites

Closed. The domain now belongs to an unrelated website; the subscription box is no longer running. Monthly box of snacks from around the world, active around 2016–2017; current status not confirmed.

What's in the box: When it was running, each monthly box held an assortment of snacks from different countries.

World Bites is no longer operating, and its old web address now leads to an unrelated online lottery and gambling site instead of a snack shop. When it ran, around 2016 and 2017, World Bites was a monthly subscription box in the Philippines that sent members snacks from different countries. The idea was simple. Instead of tracking down imported treats yourself, you would get a box each month with a mix of foreign sweets and savory snacks to try at home. Its pricing, box sizes and delivery areas are not known, and nothing shows that the service has come back under a new name or address. Do not try to order, create an account or enter payment details at worldbites.ph, because the site there has nothing to do with the original business. If you like the idea, look for an international snack box that is running now and clearly lists its prices, shipping coverage and cancellation terms before you subscribe. For anyone looking into Philippine subscription boxes from the mid 2010s, World Bites is remembered as one of the local attempts at a world snack sampler, but you can no longer subscribe to it.
