What's in the box: When it operated, deliveries usually held refill pouches of household cleaning, laundry and personal care products, and starter orders also came with reusable bottles.
Zero Co is no longer trading. The Australian refill brand stopped operating on 30 April 2025 after six years, saying it could not find a path to profitability, so there is nothing to order or subscribe to. When it was running, Zero Co sold household cleaning, laundry and personal care products such as dishwashing liquid, laundry liquid, surface sprays, hand wash, shampoo and body wash. Customers bought sturdy reusable bottles once and then received refills in pouches. Those pouches went back in a return satchel to be cleaned and refilled instead of being thrown away. The aim was to cut single use plastic from the kitchen, bathroom and laundry without anyone having to visit a bulk store. It was a real attempt at a closed loop delivery system, and the company's closure shows how hard that model is to make pay. Note that the zero.co web address now belongs to Zero Petroleum, an unrelated synthetic fuel company. Don't go there looking for Zero Co products, account details or customer support. Past customers have no ongoing service to manage. If you want a similar refill setup, look at Australian refill and zero waste household brands that are still trading, and read their return and refill terms before you commit.
