1UP Box is no longer operating: the subscription ended in May 2018, the April 2018 box was the final shipment, and the website no longer loads. When it ran, 1UP Box was a US based monthly mystery box for video game fans and the wider geek crowd. Each month followed a theme, and subscribers received a curated mix of merchandise tied to games and pop culture, such as collectibles, apparel and small novelty items. Much of the appeal was the surprise of not knowing what would arrive until the box was opened. It was one of many fandom boxes of that era, and like several of them it did not last. Because the service is closed, there is nothing to order, no active customer support and no way to manage or restart a subscription. Treat any offer claiming to sell new 1UP Box subscriptions with caution. Past boxes and individual items sometimes appear on resale and auction sites, so collectors hunting for a specific themed month may find leftovers there, though condition and completeness will vary. If you want a gaming or geek subscription today, choose a service that is actively shipping and clearly states its contents and terms.
