Annapolis Home Brew is a home brewing supply shop based in Maryland, and its Brew-A-Beer Monthly Subscription is meant to send beer brewing supplies to your door every month. The idea works well for hobby brewers. Instead of planning each batch and shopping for ingredients yourself, you get a new recipe on a regular schedule, which keeps your fermenter busy and lets you try styles you might not pick on your own. The trouble is that when we checked, the online store was not working. The site shows a Shopify page saying the store is currently unavailable, so you cannot browse the subscription, read the plan details, or sign up. The site does not currently state prices, beer styles, batch sizes, shipping areas or cancellation terms. That leaves shoppers with nothing to judge the service on. The store may come back, and a local shop that supports home brewers is worth having. For now, though, we cannot recommend paying for or relying on this subscription until the store is back up and the plan terms are posted. If you live near the shop, calling or visiting may be the most reliable way to find out whether the monthly kits are still offered.
