Pencil collectors looking into past releases

What's in the box: When it ran, each delivery held a themed limited edition set of Baron Fig Archer graphite pencils.

The Baron Fig Archer Pencil Subscription has closed, and Baron Fig does not offer it or any other subscription today. When it ran, the service sent subscribers limited edition sets of Archer pencils, Baron Fig's own graphite pencil. Each release was built around its own theme and design. For people who like sketching and drawing with a good wooden pencil, part of the appeal was the surprise of each new design and the chance to collect editions that were made in limited numbers. Baron Fig ended its subscription programs after about one to two years, and it now puts out limited editions on its own schedule instead. The site does not state when the subscription ended. Baron Fig now focuses on pens such as the Squire line, Confidant and other hardcover notebooks, journals, leather notebook cases, and desk accessories. Pencils are not among its most visible current products, so if you want Archer pencils, check the shop directly instead of assuming they are in stock. If you want drawing pencils delivered on a regular schedule, you will need a different service. Baron Fig announces new releases and limited runs through its newsletter, but that does not replace a regular shipment.
