Bir Kutu Kitap

What's in the box: Three books chosen by the editors around a monthly theme, packed with surprise gifts.

Bir Kutu Kitap is a monthly book subscription aimed at readers in Turkey. Each month its editors pick three books from their curated selection and ship them together with surprise gifts. Boxes have a monthly theme; the October 2026 box is called "Kayıp" (Lost). Shipping is free, and boxes go out within the first 10 days of each month, so you can expect a fairly predictable arrival window. The service says its books come at discounts of up to 50%, and it currently offers a monthly subscription at 499.00 TL, described as a limited-time price, so it may rise later. It also runs reading events meant to encourage members to read more, which adds a small community element. The site is entirely in Turkish, which makes sense for its audience but means the books are almost certainly Turkish-language editions. The site does not say which genres or publishers it favors, whether you can skip a month or swap a title, or how cancellation works. It also does not mention shipping outside Turkey. Check those terms before you subscribe, especially if you already own many recent releases. For Turkish readers who enjoy being surprised by someone else's picks, it is a simple, reasonably structured option.
