What's in the box: A box typically held a handful of beauty samples and travel size products covering skincare, makeup, hair care and fragrance.

Birchbox España is no longer operating. Its website does not load, and it stopped shipping subscription boxes in Spain in late 2022 when its parent company ran into financial trouble. While it ran, it was one of the better known beauty sample subscriptions in Spain. Subscribers got a monthly box with a small selection of beauty products, mostly sample and travel sizes, chosen partly from a beauty profile they filled in. The main appeal was discovery. You could try skincare, makeup, hair care and fragrance from both established and smaller brands without buying full size products. Many subscribers used it to find items they later bought in full size. It also had the usual problems of sample boxes. Some months felt repetitive, some samples were very small, and not every item suited every subscriber, even with a profile. Since the service has stopped, you cannot subscribe, and you should be careful with any old sign up links or gift offers you come across. If you were a subscriber, do not expect more boxes or customer support from the Spanish service. If you are in Spain and want a similar monthly discovery box, choose a beauty subscription that is still shipping and clearly states its current terms, contents and cancellation policy before you commit.
