What's in the box: One carefully chosen self-help book each month, plus access to a monthly online book club meeting and a private WhatsApp community.
BookBox Club is a Dutch monthly subscription for women interested in personal development. It sends one self-help book each month and builds a small community around it. The box arrives through your letterbox, usually on the last Friday of the month. Members vote on the next title in the second week, and on the last Thursday there is a one-hour online meeting on Google Meet. In the meeting, members share and discuss passages, and everyone writes down and shares personal goals. You also get access to a private WhatsApp community. The club is less about the books themselves and more about acting on what you read, with the group keeping you accountable. If you often buy self-help books and never apply them, that could help. If you just want a curated book each month, the community features add little. The monthly plan costs €34.95 after an introductory price of €24.95 for the first two months, and you can cancel monthly. The annual plan works out to €29 per month, billed as €348 per year. Shipping is free. The club runs in Dutch. The site does not say whether the books are Dutch or English editions, which formats you get, or whether you can skip a month.
