Bookworm Box

Closed. The domain now leads to a domain-for-sale page; the service is no longer running.

What's in the box: When it was running, a typical box was built around a book picked for the subscriber, but the site no longer states exactly what each box included.

Bookworm Box is no longer operating, and its website now shows only a page offering the bookwormbox.com domain for sale. When it was running, it was a subscription box in the books category for readers in the US. The idea behind it was the usual one for book boxes: a book chosen for you arrived by mail on a schedule, so you could find new titles without picking them yourself. The old site no longer explains how titles were chosen, which genres it covered, or what else came in each shipment, so we can't confirm those details. You can't order, subscribe, or manage an account through the domain anymore. If you subscribed in the past and have questions about a charge or a missing shipment, contact your bank or card issuer, because the original company no longer has a working site. If you want a book subscription now, look for a service that is still running, with clear terms, a visible way to contact support, and a simple way to cancel. Before you pay, check that the company is actively shipping and that its site shows current information. We would not suggest spending time or money trying to reach this service, since there is no longer any sign that it exists.
