Boots Volunteers Panel

What's in the box: Members receive Boots products to test as part of specific research studies, along with feedback questions to answer, rather than a fixed curated box.

Boots Volunteers is a product testing panel run by Boots, the long established British health and beauty retailer. It is not a subscription box in the usual sense. You apply to join the panel, and members are invited to try products and share their opinions. The site describes two kinds of study. In home user studies you test items in your own home. On-site research studies take place at a Boots location. Boots is based in Nottingham, so on-site sessions are likely to suit people who live nearby. Because the panel exists to collect feedback, there is no regular delivery schedule and no guarantee of how often you will be chosen for a study. What arrives depends on the research Boots is running at the time, so you cannot pick what you receive. The site does not say what rewards are offered beyond the chance to try products, so read the FAQ and terms before you sign up. If you are curious about beauty, toiletries and health products and happy to answer questionnaires honestly, this is a low commitment way to get involved with a well known brand. If you want a predictable monthly box, look elsewhere.
