Bun Box Society

What's in the box: A typical standard box holds 5 to 8 rabbit toys and treats, such as wooden chews and forage items, plus one larger featured toy.

Bun Box Society is a monthly subscription box made just for rabbits and curated in San Diego. The boxes focus on wooden toys, natural treats, forage and enrichment items rather than general small pet gear. The standard box has 5 to 8 toys and treats plus one large toy. The cheaper Monthly Mini has 5 to 7 smaller items and leaves out the large wooden toys and mats. The Mini costs $28.99 a month, month-to-month costs $54.99, and the 12 month plan costs $44.99 a month. Every plan includes free US shipping and a discount on add-ons from the shop. The annual plan is the best value, but read the terms first. It is a 12 month commitment, and you skip or cancel by asking the company rather than doing it yourself at any time. The company does say it will cancel promptly if you are unhappy. On the month-to-month and Mini plans you can skip or cancel anytime. Prepaid gift subscriptions come in 3, 6 and 12 month lengths, and the longer ones include free months. The site also links to a separate PiggyBox, but this box is built for bunnies, so hamster owners should look elsewhere. Overall it is a focused, sensible choice for rabbit owners who want a steady supply of new chews and enrichment.
