Small Pet Select – The Bunny Box / The Piggy Box

What's in the box: The site does not list box contents in detail, but its range points to a mix of premium hay, treats, herbal blends and natural chews for rabbits or guinea pigs.

Small Pet Select is a family-owned US retailer that has sold supplies for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and other small animals since 2012. It is best known for its hay. The company says its owners visit farms every summer to hand-select Timothy and other hays, and the hay is made in the USA. The store also sells bedding and litter, pelleted food, treats, herbal blends, natural chews and toys, supplements, grooming supplies and habitat accessories, along with a smaller range for chickens, dogs and cats. The Bunny Box and The Piggy Box are its subscription options for rabbit and guinea pig owners. However, the site now features Autoship and individual products much more than the boxes, and it does not clearly say what each box holds or how often it ships. If a curated box is what you want, check that it is still offered before you sign up. Autoship is the other option: it lets you set hay and other staples to arrive on a repeating schedule. Orders placed by 4:00 PM PST ship the same day, and shipping is free on orders over $49. This is a solid pick if you mainly want good hay delivered reliably. If you want a box full of surprise treats and toys, the subscription side may feel thin.
