Camera Film Photo Film Subscription

What's in the box: The site does not describe a subscription box, though the shop sells film stock, darkroom chemistry, cameras and accessories one item at a time.

Camera Film Photo is a film photography retailer and processing lab based in Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon. It sells film stock from brands like Kodak, Ilford, Harman and Kiki, along with darkroom chemistry, film cameras and accessories such as handmade Japanese Cura straps. The lab develops C41, E6, black and white, and ECN2 motion picture film, and the shop says it can return scans and negatives quickly. It ships worldwide, and you can mail your film to them from abroad. It also runs workshops and photowalks. The trouble for anyone looking for a subscription box is that the site does not describe a recurring box at all. It does not say what a box would contain, how often one would ship, or what it would cost. The only signup on the homepage is an email newsletter. The shop itself looks well stocked and run by people who care about analog photography. Still, if you want film to arrive automatically each month, check with them directly before you count on that. For now it is better treated as a reliable place to buy film and get it developed than as a subscription service.
