CampusCube (CollegeCarePackages.com)

What's in the box: A themed mix of healthy snacks, personal care items and a few useful or fun extras, packed in decorative packaging.

CampusCube, which sells through CollegeCarePackages.com, puts together care packages that parents, grandparents and friends can send to college students. You can sign up for a care package plan or buy a one-time box. The site groups boxes by occasion, so you'll find exam boxes for midterms and finals, birthday boxes that work as a small party in a box, wellness boxes and boxes sorted by school. The company says the boxes hold healthy snacks, good personal care items and a few useful or fun extras, and it puts a lot of weight on presentation. A couple of subscription box review sites have praised how well the themed items fit together and how nice the boxes look when opened. The company is based in Kearny, New Jersey, and you contact it by email. Some details are hard to find on the homepage, like exactly what goes in each box, how plans renew and how shipping works. Look at the plan pages and the shipping and refund policies before you commit to anything recurring. It's a good choice if you want a polished, themed package without putting one together yourself.
