Comic Bento is not currently operating. Its website, comicbento.com, now shows only a hosting provider's Account Suspended message instead of a shop. We found no official closure announcement, and the newest coverage we could find is from 2017, so the service appears to have stopped some time ago. When it was running, Comic Bento was a US monthly subscription that mailed curated comics to readers. Each shipment was built around a theme. The picks were mostly collected editions, such as trade paperbacks and graphic novels, rather than single issues, so subscribers usually got complete story arcs from different publishers. The main appeal was discovery: readers could try series they might not have chosen on their own. Because the site is suspended, you can't subscribe, manage an account or reach customer support through it, and we can't confirm what happened to any remaining subscriptions. Don't try to sign up, and don't send payment to anyone who claims to represent the service. If you want something similar, look for a comics or manga subscription that is still running, or ask a local comic shop about a pull list and staff recommendations.
