Emma's Diary is a long-running UK pregnancy and parenting site, owned by Everyday Health Group since January 2022. It is not a paid subscription box. You join its free Club, and membership lets you claim free gift packs that you collect from your local Boots or Argos instead of having them posted. The site doesn't say exactly what goes in each pack or how many you can claim, so check the details when you sign up. Along with the freebies, members get exclusive offers and discounts from partner brands, weekly tips and updates by email, and an app that gives advice for your stage of pregnancy. There is also a week-by-week pregnancy tracker covering weeks 1 to 40, plus guides on conceiving, nutrition, hospital bags and life with a newborn. The site also has a shop that sells baby gear such as pushchairs and feeding pillows. That's useful to know, but the shop is separate from the free packs. Expect plenty of brand marketing, because that's how free sample schemes pay for themselves. Overall, it costs nothing, it's easy to use and it's worth joining for most expectant parents in Great Britain. Just treat the offers emails as optional.
