Fully Booked Fresh Read

What's in the box: The site does not say what a Fresh Read shipment contains, though the store focuses on new and popular fiction and nonfiction.

Fully Booked is a well-known Philippine bookstore chain, and its website works as a full online bookstore. You can browse books and non-book items, bestsellers, curated collections, pre-orders and a sale section. The current featured categories include thrillers, puzzle mysteries, horror graphic novels and YA mystery. The site also highlights a featured author, staff picks, cozy fantasy and new paperbacks. The blog posts regular staff reviews under the First Look Club name, along with author spotlights, which can help you find your next read. The Fresh Read subscription is a different story. The homepage does not explain it: there is no page describing the plan, how titles are chosen, how often they arrive or how much it costs. If you want a recurring book box, contact support or use the live chat before you commit. Everyday ordering is clearer. Orders of Php 799 and above ship free, and cash on delivery is available at that same threshold. Payment options include cards, GCash, Maya, online banking and over-the-counter deposit. Discount cardholders get an extra 5% off D-Coded items. As a place to buy books in the Philippines it is solid, but as a subscription box it is hard to judge from what the site shows.
