What's in the box: When it operated, each box held a selection of beauty products such as skincare and makeup items for subscribers to try.
Glossybox Korea is no longer operating. Its website does not load, and there is no current Korean subscription service under the Glossybox name. The Korean edition launched in June 2011 as a local branch of Glossybox, the beauty sampling brand that started in Germany earlier that year. While it ran, it used the familiar Glossybox format. Each month subscribers got a box of beauty products in the brand's pink presentation box. The idea was to try new skincare, makeup and other beauty items before buying full products. It was one of the first beauty boxes in Korea, a category that later filled up with local competitors. The service has closed, so there is nothing to sign up for. Be careful with any site that claims to be Glossybox Korea unless you can clearly confirm it is genuine, and do not send it payment or personal details. Past prices, the contents of specific monthly boxes and shipping terms are not available, so we cannot say how good a value it was. If you want a beauty sampling subscription in Korea today, look at services that are active now and read their terms directly.
