Paused.Paused its online store and Sock of the Month after nine years of operation and plans to return in 2026.
What's in the box: When active, each month brought a pair of colorful, fun-patterned novelty socks from the John's Crazy Socks range.
John's Crazy Socks has paused its Sock of the Month club, so it is not operating normally right now. The company says it paused its online store and the monthly club after nine years of operation and plans to return in 2026. Its homepage now shows a sock shop with men's, women's, themed, custom and bulk sections, but it does not advertise the monthly club. Check the site directly before assuming the subscription has resumed. When it ran, Sock of the Month sent members a pair of the brand's colorful novelty socks each month, in the same playful style the shop is known for. The business is a father and son social enterprise based in Huntington, on Long Island, New York. It was inspired by cofounder John Lee Cronin, a young man with Down syndrome who loves bright, fun socks. The company says more than half of its team members have a differing ability and that it donates 5% of its earnings to the Special Olympics. For many buyers that mission was a big part of the appeal, along with designs ranging from autism awareness themes to compression and ankle styles. We are not rating the service while it is paused. If the club relaunches, we will review it again based on what it actually offers at that time.
