Moved. The old site now redirects to valueslab.ai. CDMX bilingual children's book-lending subscription founded January 2016; began franchising in September 2021.
What's in the box: When it operated, members received a rotating selection of borrowed bilingual children's books in English and Spanish, which were returned and swapped for new titles.
Little Bookmates no longer runs as a book subscription, and its website now redirects to ValuesLab, a separate digital reading and character-education platform. When it was active, Little Bookmates was a bilingual children's book-lending service based in Mexico City. It was founded in January 2016. Families didn't buy books outright. They borrowed a rotating selection of English and Spanish titles through a subscription, so children could read widely without parents having to buy and store every book. In September 2021 the company began franchising, which suggests it planned to grow beyond its home city. Visitors to the old address now land on ValuesLab instead. ValuesLab is an app that offers bilingual stories, reading tournaments, habit challenges and a teacher dashboard for schools. It is currently collecting waitlist sign-ups for a free tier and a paid tier called GLOW. ValuesLab is screen based and sends no physical books, so it does not replace the original lending service. The site does not say what happened to existing members, books still on loan, or franchise locations. Former subscribers should contact the company directly about any open matters. If you want a physical bilingual book-lending subscription in Mexico, look elsewhere, because this one no longer operates in its original form.
