What's in the box: An assortment of Lotte Wellfood snacks and sweets such as cookies, chocolate, chips and gum, though the site does not list exact contents.
Lotte Wellfood is the new name of Lotte Confectionery, one of South Korea's biggest snack makers. Its catalog reads like a Korean convenience store aisle: Pepero sticks, Kkokkalcorn corn snacks, Xylitol gum, Ghana chocolate, Mon Cher cream cakes, Mok Candy throat lozenges and a long list of ice cream bars. A monthly snack box from this company should bring familiar and well made treats, possibly with new releases mixed in, such as the recent limited Kkokkalcorn flavors. The main company site mostly covers corporate news and brands, though, and says very little about the subscription. It does not state the price, how many items come in each box, how often the selection changes, or whether shipping reaches outside Korea. Ordering appears to go through Lotte's own online shops, the Food Mall and the Sweet Mall, so expect a Korean language checkout. If you live in Korea and already like Lotte snacks, this is a simple way to get them delivered. If you are abroad or want snacks from many brands, look at a reseller or a mixed Korean snack box. Check the current terms on the shop before you sign up.
