Marvel Collector Corps (Funko)

What's in the box: A themed mix of Marvel collectibles, usually built around an exclusive Pop! vinyl figure with apparel and smaller extras.

Marvel Collector Corps is Funko's Marvel-themed subscription box. It is built around exclusive collectibles tied to Marvel films and characters. It has historically shipped on a bimonthly schedule. Each box follows a theme and usually includes at least one exclusive Pop! vinyl figure, along with apparel and smaller items. Longtime collectors like it because it offers pieces they cannot buy in regular retail. One caution: the Funko homepage we checked does not mention Marvel Collector Corps at all. It promotes Avengers: Doomsday figures, web exclusives and convention exclusives sold one at a time, but we found no link to sign up for a subscription. We could not confirm current pricing, schedule or box contents from that page, so check the official site or contact Funko support before expecting a recurring shipment. If the box is active, it suits Marvel fans who already collect Funko and enjoy surprises. It makes less sense if you want to pick specific figures, because the store sells many Marvel Pop! figures individually, including web exclusives. Value also depends on whether you like the apparel and on each box's theme, which you do not choose. It is a well known name in geek subscriptions, but confirm it is available before you plan around it.
