What's in the box: There is no curated box; you choose your own period underwear, swimwear or value packs in the absorbency and size you need.
Modibodi is an Australian brand of reusable period underwear and swimwear. Swedish hygiene group Essity has owned it since July 2022, when it bought the company for A$140 million. It is listed here as a subscription service, but the AU site works like a normal online shop. You buy single pairs, multipacks and value packs, and there is no recurring box. If you want automatic deliveries, check that before you order. Each pair has a three-layer gusset that absorbs fluid, odour and stains. There are three absorbencies: Light, Moderate and Super, which the brand says hold about as much as 4, 6 and 10 tampons. The range includes everyday briefs, seamfree and active styles, a teen line in youth sizes 8-10 up to 14-16, and period swimwear, which fewer competitors offer. A product quiz and size guide help you choose. First-time customers who buy direct get a 60-Day Risk Free Trial. If they are unhappy, they can claim a store credit or refund on one used product from their first order, and they don't have to send it back. Most best sellers show ratings in the mid 4s, but one seamless boyshort pack shows 3.8. Pairs cost more upfront than disposables, but they can replace many disposable products over time. This is a solid, established product, not a curated box.
