MotorCrate

Moved. The old site now redirects to portal.apellowarmupservices.com. Car-culture and detailing box listed as founded in 2022; current operating status not confirmed.

What's in the box: When it was running, boxes focused on car cleaning and detailing products for home use, with a car-culture theme.

MotorCrate does not appear to be operating normally. Its old web address now sends visitors to an unrelated 'earn money' survey and offers site instead of a car care shop. When it ran, MotorCrate was a British subscription box for car enthusiasts, listed as founded in 2022. It mixed detailing products with a car-culture theme. The idea was to send a selection of cleaning and care items to people who like looking after their own vehicles, along with extras for motoring fans. It is not clear whether the business still trades under another name or address, and nothing on the old domain explains what happened. The site the domain now points to has nothing to do with car care. It asks for personal details and for consent to automated calls and texts, in return for promised payouts for surveys and trial offers. We advise against entering any information there, and you should not assume it is connected to the original box. If you were a MotorCrate subscriber, check your bank or card statements for any ongoing payments. Contact your card provider if you see charges you cannot account for. If you want a detailing subscription today, choose one with a working, clearly identified website and current contact details.
