What's in the box: A hand-picked mix of horse treats, grooming and care products, tack or accessories, and items for the rider, often built around a theme.
My Horse Box is a UK subscription that sends a box of horse treats and equestrian products each month. You sign up, tell the company your preferences, and it hand-picks items for you and your horse. Prices start from £40 a month, and the company says each box has a minimum value of £55. Boxes go out on the 15th of each month. New subscribers who commit to 6 or 12 months can claim a free first box, which ships right away, and there is a free gift worth £30 for people who sign up before the 10th. Past boxes have had themes such as grooming essentials, treats and care, tack and accessories, rider favourites and winter warmers, so the contents cover both the horse and the rider. The site also has a shop, a referral scheme and a members' login. It says it will put things right if your horse does not like a box, but it gives few details on how that works. The service is run by My Horse Box Limited, a registered UK company with a published address, which is reassuring. Before you commit to a longer plan, read the terms on cancellation and on how much the customisation actually covers, because the homepage does not explain either.
