The Stable Co is an Australian subscription box for equestrians that ships once a season. Boxes go out on 4 March, 4 June, 4 September and 4 December, and each one holds five or more items for horse and rider. The products cover grooming, homewares and wellness, and each box also includes discount codes. You can take a seasonal subscription at $89.95 a quarter or buy a single box for $99.95. Shipping is free anywhere in Australia, and the site says you can skip boxes or cancel at any time. The company claims each box is worth over $150, but it does not list past contents, so you can't easily check that figure or see what a typical box holds before you buy. The founder, Nikki Cook, also runs Shory Park Horses, a horse retraining and rehoming business, which gives the brand real roots in the horse world. A junior version of the box exists but is currently sold out. With only four boxes a year, this is more of an occasional treat than a steady supply. It suits riders who enjoy trying new products and would like a ready-made gift for a horse lover.
