What's in the box: A box built around that month's theme, filled with handcrafted items from independent Irish makers and workshops.
MyIrelandBox is a monthly subscription of handcrafted goods from Ireland. Founder Katharine has run it since 2013 from the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. Each month has a theme. Recent ones include The Irish Sheep, An Irish Christmas and St. Patrick's Day from Ireland, and November 2026 is Thanksgiving in an Irish Castle. A Thanksgiving box tells you who the main audience is: the Irish diaspora and people who love Ireland, especially in North America, as much as people living in Ireland. The focus is on independent makers, meaning small family workshops and traditional crafts that are hard to find on your own. The company says it has sent more than €8.82 million to these makers over the years. If that's accurate, your subscription does real good. Boxes are packed by hand in Ireland, and all plans ship with tracking on the 5th of each month. There is also an Author of the Month feature, and you can buy past boxes. If you came looking for crafts and DIY, note that this is a curated gift box of finished handmade items, not a kit for making things yourself. The tone is warm and sentimental and leans heavily on heritage and storytelling. Some will love that and others will find it a bit much. Right now the 3 month membership includes a free Celtic Shamrock necklace in the first box.
