What's in the box: A monthly kit of private-label men's grooming basics, such as moisturizers, cleansers, shave products or beard balm, depending on which collection you choose.
Peak Grooming Box, which also sells under the BeardBox name, is a men's grooming subscription built on a simple pitch: affordable, no-fuss essentials instead of luxury products and long routines. The company says it ships private-label grooming products every month and aims them at everyday guys, from students to dads to working professionals. The range covers face care, hair, shaving, body and beard, split into a broader PeakBox collection and a smaller BeardBox collection. Beard shoppers should know the beard side is thin. The BeardBox line lists only three items, including a beard balm, while most of the catalog leans toward skincare such as an AM moisturizer with SPF 20, a PM moisturizer and a facial exfoliator. Single products are also sold on demand through a Peak Picks shop, mostly priced under $10, with a full face care kit at $19.99, so you can try things before you commit. The site says subscription kits ship free. The front page does not explain the subscription price, how skipping or canceling works, or exactly what goes into each monthly kit. Customer reviews on the site are sparse, and at least one item shows as sold out. It looks like a reasonable budget option for someone starting a basic routine, but dedicated beard enthusiasts may want a more specialized box.
