What's in the box: When it was running, deliveries typically contained replacement plant capsules with seeds for herbs, greens or edible flowers, made to fit Plantui smart garden units.
Plantui is no longer operating, and its website now shows only a notice that the domain is for sale. Plantui was a Finnish company known for compact smart indoor gardens. These were countertop hydroponic units with built in LED grow lights that let people grow herbs, salad greens and other small edible plants indoors all year. The gardens used plant capsules that already contained seeds, and the ongoing part of the service was a supply of replacement capsules. Owners could keep planting new crops without buying seeds or soil separately. The appeal was simplicity. You added water, put in the capsules, and the device handled the lighting cycle. That suited people in northern climates with long dark winters. The design was clean and minimal, and the capsule system kept mess to a minimum. Now that the company's site is gone, there is no official way to sign up, manage an existing order or get support. Be wary of anyone claiming to sell Plantui subscriptions under the old name. If you still own a Plantui garden, check whether generic or third party seed pods fit your unit, or look at indoor garden brands that are still trading and still sell refills. We cannot recommend this service because it is not available.
