RAXY's beauty subscription box no longer exists. Rakuten announced its end in December 2023, and the last box shipped in March 2024. When it ran, RAXY was a Rakuten Group subscription for shoppers in Japan. Each month it sent a box of cosmetics and skincare items so members could try products from a range of brands before buying them. The raxy.rakuten.co.jp address now hosts a different service, a free beauty media site. It has product reviews, makeup and haircare articles, news about Rakuten Ichiba sales campaigns, and an AI virtual diagnosis tool that suggests cosmetics based on your skin type and personal color. Rakuten relaunched the free membership program on September 18, 2025. Members may sometimes receive samples of popular cosmetics and can enter prize draws, but the site says samples go out irregularly and not every member gets them. Accounts from the old RAXY were not carried over automatically. There is no paid box to subscribe to here, and the free program does not replace a regular delivery. If you want a monthly beauty box in Japan, you will need another service. Today the site is mainly useful as a Japanese-language source of cosmetics reviews and makeup guides.
