The RiderBox (Fuel Goods)

What's in the box: A curated selection of running fuel such as gels, chews, hydration mixes, bars and recovery products drawn from the multiple brands Fuel Goods stocks.

The RunnerBox comes from Fuel Goods, a US online marketplace that sells sports nutrition from many brands in one place. The site is organized around gels, chews, hydration, bars, high carb products and recovery, and the RunnerBox appears to be its curated box option, presented under a 'Let us box it up for you' heading. The homepage promotes a newest RunnerBox but does not explain how often boxes ship, what they cost, or how any subscription works, so check those details before signing up. What stands out is the surrounding service. Fuel Goods offers a free personalized fueling plan that suggests what to eat and drink and when, based on your goals, which pairs naturally with a box of mixed fuel. The company says orders placed before 3PM EST ship the same business day. Its tone is friendly and inclusive, aimed at athletes of any level rather than only elites, and the founder writes chatty updates. The company was recently named runner up at Outside Ignite, a startup pitch competition. The main appeal is trying several brands without buying full packs of each. The main risk is that you may not control exactly what arrives, and some products may not suit your stomach or diet. Runners who already know their preferred gel may get more value shopping the store directly.
