The Secret Book Box

Closed. The website no longer loads. Themed monthly book box for children, teens and moms; current activity not confirmed.

What's in the box: Each box held books picked around a monthly theme, with separate selections for children, teens or moms.

The Secret Book Box is no longer operating, and its website no longer loads, so you cannot order or manage a subscription through it. When it was running, this South African service sent out a themed book box each month, with separate options for children, teens and moms. Instead of choosing titles yourself, you received a selection built around that month's theme. That made it an easy way for families to find new reading without spending time browsing shelves. Because it covered several age groups, one household could get books for parents and kids from the same place. It is not known what the boxes cost, how they were delivered, or which extras came with the books, and none of that matters much now that the service has stopped. If you still have an old account or an open order, check with your bank or card provider about any recurring payments rather than relying on the website. If you are in South Africa and want a similar themed reading box, look for a book subscription that is still trading and shows its prices and delivery terms clearly. We do not recommend trying to sign up for The Secret Book Box.
