What's in the box: There is no recurring box: you buy individual pairs or saver sets of leakproof underwear for periods, bladder leaks, overnight use or teens.
Thinx is a direct-to-consumer brand that sells reusable period and bladder leak underwear. It is not really a subscription box. The homepage does not advertise a recurring box. It promotes individual styles, saver sets for protection across a whole cycle, and a rewards program. The range is broad: period underwear, a 3-in-1 collection that absorbs periods, a little pee and sweat, bladder leak styles, teen sizes in fun colors, overnight pieces, sleep shorts and the new Butterfly Shorts. Thinx says the Butterfly Shorts are leakproof for up to 12 hours. It also says its absorbent layers hold up to 12 regular tampons' worth of flow, with a note that individual results may vary. Sizing goes up to 4X. Every order comes with a 45 day trial, and returns are free except on final sale items. Free standard shipping in the US starts at $125, which is a high bar if you only want a pair or two. Kimberly-Clark has owned a majority stake in Thinx since February 2022, so a major personal care company backs the brand. Thinx also settled a class action in 2022 over claims about PFAS in its products without admitting wrongdoing. If that matters to you, check the brand's current materials information. Thinx is a solid, established choice for moving away from disposables, but it does not offer automatic monthly deliveries.
