What's in the box: If you are selected, you get a party pack or TryaBox of a partner brand's products, such as games, snacks or pasta, plus guides for sharing them with others.
Tryazon is not a subscription box in the usual sense. You don't pay each month for a curated shipment. Instead, you sign up as a member for free and then apply for specific opportunities posted by partner brands. These come in a few forms: hosted parties, where you get a party pack to share with friends; TryaBoxes, which are products for you to try; and TryaDeals. Recent offers on the site include board game nights, a fresh pasta TryaBox, a fall caramel party and Minecraft Sticki Rolls. Spots are limited, and you have to compete for them. The site says applicants compete partly by following partner brands and sharing about them, so expect to post on social media if you want a real chance of being picked. If you are chosen, Tryazon sends the pack along with guides to help you run the event. The appeal is clear: free products and a reason to get friends together. The tradeoff is that nothing is guaranteed. You may apply many times without being chosen, and the whole model is built around promoting brands to the people you know. The site does not explain in detail how hosts are selected. Tryazon suits outgoing people who enjoy hosting and don't mind acting as an informal brand ambassador.
