Vitl

What's in the box: A monthly pack of daily supplements picked from your quiz answers, and from DNA or blood test results if you take those tests.

Vitl is a UK nutrition company that builds a supplement pack for you from an online health quiz. The quiz asks about your goals, diet, lifestyle and how you feel. If you want more data, you can add an at-home DNA test or a vitamin blood test, which also checks cholesterol. Vitl says it uses those results to adjust your formula. Once your plan is set, the vitamins arrive by post every month. Vitl also sells single products on subscription: a daily probiotic, Omega 3, vegan vitamin D3 softgels, immune support, sleep and energy blends, and a hair, skin and nails formula. The site says subscriptions come with free UK delivery. The main appeal is convenience. You get one pack picked for you and don't have to research each supplement yourself. Vitl also says it sources the most bioavailable form of each nutrient. The usual caveats for this category apply. A quiz is not a medical assessment, and many people who eat a balanced diet need little beyond the vitamin D the NHS suggests for autumn and winter. Nutrition advice based on DNA is still a new area with limited evidence behind it. At least one product was sold out when we checked. It's worth a try if you want convenience and a tailored pack. If you have a health condition or take medication, check with a GP first.
