The Walmart Baby Registry Welcome Box is not operating normally right now. Its page on walmart.com no longer loads and shows a page not found error. Walmart brought a welcome box back with its redesigned baby registry in early 2025, but supply is limited and it is sometimes sold out, so you cannot count on getting one. When it ran, the box was a free perk for parents who created a baby registry at Walmart. After you set up a registry, you could request a box of sample sized baby and parenting products from well known brands. It was never a recurring subscription. Each registrant could claim one box, and the contents changed depending on which brands were partnering with Walmart at the time. The appeal was simple: you got a few useful trial products with no ongoing commitment and a chance to test brands before buying full sizes. The downsides were the usual ones for free sample boxes. You could not predict the contents, many items were small trial sizes, and part of the box was coupons and promotional material. To claim it, you had to create a registry and share personal details with a large retailer. With the original page gone and the newer version often out of stock, shoppers should not plan around receiving one.
