Waxybox

Closed. The website no longer loads. UK-only sample box reported active around 2012–2013; no current activity found.

What's in the box: When it was running, each box held sample-sized car care and detailing products for trying at home.

Waxybox is no longer operating. Its website does not load and there is no sign of current activity, so you cannot subscribe. When it ran, around 2012 and 2013, it was a UK-only subscription for people who look after their own cars. It sent a sample box of car care and detailing products, so enthusiasts could try different items without buying full-size bottles. That suited hobbyists who were curious about new waxes, cleaners and treatments but unsure which brands were worth paying for. Pricing, delivery frequency and the brands it included are not known, so it is hard to judge how good the value was. Because the service has closed, you cannot order, manage or cancel a subscription through the old site. If you come across an old link or a page that still offers Waxybox, be cautious. If you want the same kind of experience, look for a car care subscription or sample service that is still trading, has a working website and shows clear terms, prices and contact details. Many detailing retailers also sell sample sizes or trial kits directly, so you can test products without an ongoing commitment. Waxybox is best remembered as an early UK car care sample box, not as something you can buy today.
